Rivage System Requirements

Platforms on September 22, 2026

Rivage launches on September 22, 2026. The confirmed platforms are PC on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Microsoft Store with Xbox Play Anywhere. Steam app ID is 4094660. There is no Nintendo Switch announcement. Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus have not been announced. Price is TBA on every storefront. There are no microtransactions.

The game is single-player only. There is no multiplayer mode to enable in a settings menu. Exnilo Studio (a two-person Montreal team) built it in Unreal Engine 5.7.4. Raw Fury publishes. DualSense haptics are confirmed for PS5. Steam lists achievements, cloud saves, family sharing, and full controller support.

If you are shopping stores rather than GPUs, use the links hub and the release date page for regional unlock times. This page is the hardware and input sheet.

Steam’s published table is the source. Storage is 12 GB at both tiers. DirectX 12 is required at both tiers. Do not plan a 64-bit Windows 7 install; the floor is Windows 10.

Read the recommended GPU line as the RTX 3060 12 GB, not a 8 GB 3060 laptop SKU you happen to own. Rivage is a first-person station sim with dense interactable props. VRAM headroom matters more than a matching model number on a different bus.

The soundtrack is by the two developers. That does not change disk size, but it does mean you should not budget extra DLC for music. The voluntary Steam AI disclosure says generative tools were used only in early visual prototyping and that the shipped game contains no AI-generated content. That is a content note, not a performance note.

Consoles, Play Anywhere, and PC stores

PlayStation 5 unlocks around 10:00 a.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. PT on September 22, 2026, with other regions listed on the release date page. DualSense haptics are part of that version. Xbox Series X|S is a day-one platform. The Microsoft Store SKU is Xbox Play Anywhere, so that purchase is intended to travel between Xbox and supporting Windows PCs. A Steam key is not the same license. Buy once on the storefront you will actually launch.

Cloud saves on Steam are listed. Console cloud behavior follows Sony and Microsoft account rules, not the Steam checkbox. Family Sharing is a Steam feature; it does not create extra playable characters. Rivage remains one researcher on A.R.E.S.

Controller, keyboard, and Steam Deck

Steam marks full controller support. You can play Rivage with a gamepad on PC. Keyboard and mouse still work; screenshot, flashlight, and K9 binds are covered on the controls page. On PS5, plan on DualSense for haptics. On Xbox, use a Series controller. Nothing in the design requires gyro, but puzzle cameras are first-person, so a comfortable look sensitivity matters more than extra buttons.

Steam Deck is unknown. Valve has not posted a Deck Verified rating on the store page used for this write-up. Do not treat handheld play as confirmed or ruled out. If you test a local demo on Deck, remember the public demo was pulled because it no longer matches the ship build, and demo saves will not carry over.

What specs do not tell you

A GTX 1070 Ti that meets minimum will still throw you into time loops when station power dies. Frame rate is not the loop timer. The loop is fiction: A.R.E.S. depletes, Miranda wakes, K9 keeps the log. Spend hardware budget on a GPU that holds 1080p or 1440p without hitching while you read tiny pharmacy notes.

If you are under the RAM floor, close overlays before blaming the puzzle design. If you are on a 16 GB machine at 1080p, stay close to minimum settings until you see how Unreal Engine 5.7.4 streams the station. If you have 32 GB and a 3060 12 GB, start at recommended and drop effects only if hitching hits during screenshot-heavy investigation.

Pair this sheet with the loop planner so launch night is not one hour of driver updates followed by three wasted loops in the same kitchen. For first-hour fiction, use getting started. For the pulled demo’s limits, use the demo guide. Hardware gets you in the door. Power management keeps you there.
