Official trailer roster
The official Rivage trailer is the clean list. Miranda Vigneau names four missing crewmates in one line: Dahia, Johnny, Aman, and Rafi. Their rooms are untouched. Their tools are still in place. Their voices exist only as recordings. This page uses those four first names as headings because they are the names Exnilo put in the trailer, not because the demo files are a finished personnel database.
Rivage is single-player only. You will not meet these people as living partners, and there is no multiplayer mode. You reconstruct them from bunks, kitchen talk, pharmacy paper, lockers, and the K9 log. The tone is atmospheric mystery, not a hunt through combat encounters.
How to read demo evidence
The Steam demo (still playable locally after Exnilo pulled it from the store) is the only long look at rooms and mail. It is also a caption minefield. Automatic transcripts turn Dahia into Jahi or Jahee, Rafi into Raphael or Rafael Almeida, and Johnny into Johnny Kim. Those strings appear in videos. They are not a second official credits list.
When a detail below comes from a demo note, kitchen audio, or a to-do list, the sentence says so. When it comes from the trailer, the sentence says that too. Do not stitch those layers into fan biographies. Demo saves also do not carry into the September 22, 2026 build, and some puzzles were reworked after feedback. Dahia
Official: Dahia is one of the four names Miranda lists in the trailer.
Demo inference: Station mail and kitchen recordings that auto-captions spell as Jahi, Jahee, or similar almost certainly point at the same person. Those clips talk about personal access cards for the kitchen (a pressure-safety reminder, not a joke about snacks) and about escape-pod logistics. Someone in the same conversation asks for clarification on pods “just in case.” That is a procedure question, not a confirmed rank or a full backstory.
If a kitchen door asks for a card you do not have, bank the reminder in K9 and move on. Burning power on a sealed mess hall is a loop-planner problem, not a reason to invent a personality for Dahia.
Johnny
Official: Johnny is named in the trailer beside the other three.
Demo inference: The most useful Johnny text is a pharmacy note. Emergency pharmacy batteries must stay next to the machine. Someone — the note addresses Johnny — is told to gather three batteries scattered on the floors. That line is both character color and a loop-2 power task. You can carry only one item at a time in the demo, so the note also teaches inventory.
Other demo mail uses Johnny Kim while scolding Miranda for not tying down belongings before a zero-gravity core reset. A separate kitchen recording refers to Commander Kim during a food-rationing argument. It is reasonable to suspect those surnames overlap. It is not proven that Johnny is the commander, or that two different Kims exist. Log both strings. Do not write a rank into his heading until the ship build repeats it.
Johnny’s room is one of the personal doors off the crew corridor. If it stays locked, treat that as a card or power gate, not as a missing-person cutscene.
Aman
Official: Aman is named in the trailer.
Demo inference: Aman’s space is the most object-heavy. His room asks for an ID card. A to-do associated with Miranda tells her to gather Aman’s belongings, retrieve the key to his box, empty a kitchen elevator box, and contact family. Streamers sometimes treat that list as proof he is dead. Official language is disappearance. The to-do is Miranda’s task list, not an autopsy. Keep the distinction.
Later demo loops use Aman’s locker, a damaged card, a card printer, and a tape. Kitchen and mail fragments mention food left in the connector, a birthday message with photos of a son, and a boast about winning on the Time Trickster arcade cabinet. Medical-style notes in the demo discuss diet and medication. Quote those files if you find them; do not expand them into a clinic chart the game never shows.
Aman’s objects are how several puzzles teach you to restore a card and open a box. Screenshot barcodes. Do not spend a whole loop carrying the wrong key.
Rafi
Official: Rafi is the fourth trailer name.
Demo inference: Captions often expand this to Raphael or Rafael, sometimes with Almeida, and at least one file calls the person a physicist. A kitchen audio beat has Rafi answering that he is fine and that he wants to see Buzzer, the kitchen robot. Another mail fragment tells Johnny and Rafael to stop playing with riddles and focus on the mission. Those lines sketch a person who likes toys and puzzles. They are still just lines.
If you find robot-related clutter in the mess, tag it to Rafi in K9 until a later loop proves otherwise. Do not assume Buzzer is a combat companion. Rivage has no combat.
Rooms, arcade, and what the crew is not
Walk the crew corridor with a screenshot finger on controls. Nameplates beat memory. The kitchen is a social hub even when it is empty: dishes, access-card policy, ration talk, and mail about the Time Trickster cabinet. Power dying is what ends a usable loop. Time Trickster is the arcade you walk to after the blackout when you want a clean reset, then Miranda wakes on May 1, 2467.
The crew is not a party you unlock. They are the reason terminals have leftover passwords, why a pharmacy still has a chore list, and why a box still has a key. Read them that way, then spend remaining power on the next locked wing instead of rereading the same mail.
